-Develops national unity where people are united, it leads to rapid socioeconomic development.
-Promotes peaceful coexistence of different tribes and races. As people begin to accept their cultural differences, inter-cultural tolerance is enhanced and therefore peace prevails.
-Enables a country to develop a sense of direction.
-National goals are communicated to the people in the spirit of national integration and therefore develop unified
goals on the direction they want the nation to go, e.g. the big four agenda.
-Enables achievement of easier, more efficient and accurate communication as the nation increase efforts of national integration.
